Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 8, 2026
Welcome to Boldica (the "Service"), accessible at boldica.top. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Service, which is provided by Boldica ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, then you may not access or use the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using boldica.top (the "Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Boldica. Your continued use of the Service after any update to these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
These Terms apply to all visitors and users, regardless of geographic location. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years of age and that your use of the Service does not violate any applicable law or regulation.
2. User Rules and Responsibilities
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purposes — accessing educational content about accessible technology and using the free browser-based tools — subject to these Terms.
2.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
2.2 Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service lawfully and in accordance with these Terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any account credentials (if applicable) and for all activities that occur under your account.
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, or in violation of any applicable law, rule, or regulation.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the Service, its servers, or any networks connected to the Service.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Service, other accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to the Service.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of any software used in the Service.
- Republish, redistribute, or clone the Service's tools or content for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
- Use automated scripts, bots, crawlers, or scrapers to access or collect data from the Service without permission.
- Upload, post, or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes upon the rights of others.
2.3 Educational Purpose
Boldica provides general educational information about accessible technology and daily routines. Nothing on this site constitutes medical, legal, financial, or travel advice. For decisions affecting health, safety, money, or access to essential services, consult a qualified professional or official source.
2.4 Use of Tools
The free tools are provided "as is" for personal, non-commercial use. While we strive for accuracy, automated results — such as contrast ratios or simulated color vision — are estimates and should not replace professional accessibility audits. Always confirm safety-critical information independently.
3. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, functionality, tool designs, articles, and visual elements are and will remain the exclusive property of Boldica and its licensors. All content is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
3.1 Boldica-Owned Content
Original articles, tool designs, layout, logos, and visual elements on Boldica are protected by copyright. You may share links freely and quote brief excerpts with attribution. You may not republish full articles, reproduce the tools, or clone the Service for commercial use without our prior written consent.
3.2 Trademarks
The "Boldica" name, logo, and any related trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.
3.3 User Content (If Applicable)
If you post, link, or otherwise make available content through the Service ("User Content"), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, publicly perform, publicly display, reproduce, and distribute such User Content on and through the Service. You retain all of your rights to any User Content you submit. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to submit your User Content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.
3.4 Third-Party References
Articles and tools may reference third-party products or services for educational comparison. Boldica is independent and is not endorsed by, or responsible for, those services. Their availability, behavior, and content may change without notice.
4. Limitation of Liability
YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR COURSE OF PERFORMANCE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL BOLDICA, NOR ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Boldica is not liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service or reliance on its content, including but not limited to inaccuracies in tool outputs, outdated educational information, or unavailability of the Service.
Boldica does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party websites or services linked from the Service.
5. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect by posting an updated version on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
By continuing to access or use the Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Service. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically for any updates.
Material changes will also be announced on the Boldica homepage or through the contact information you have provided, if applicable. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
6. Account Cancellation and Deactivation
6.1 Termination by Boldica
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach any provision of these Terms. Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease.
All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination — including but not limited to Intellectual Property, Limitation of Liability, Disclaimers, Indemnification, and Governing Law — shall survive termination.
6.2 Termination by User
You may stop using the Service at any time. If you have created an account (if applicable), you may request deactivation or deletion of your account by contacting us at the email listed in Section 11 (Contact Us). Upon deactivation, your User Content may be removed from the Service, though we may retain copies as required by applicable law or as necessary for legitimate business purposes.
6.3 Effect of Termination
Termination of your access does not relieve you of any obligations that accrued prior to termination, including payment obligations (if any) or responsibility for actions that occurred while your account was active.
7. Dispute Resolution
7.1 Informal Resolution
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service ("Dispute"), the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the Dispute informally. The claiming party must send a written notice of the Dispute to the other party at the contact email listed in Section 11. The parties shall attempt in good faith to resolve the Dispute within 60 days of such notice.
7.2 Binding Arbitration
If the Dispute cannot be resolved informally within 60 days, the Dispute shall be finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by an arbitral tribunal in accordance with the laws identified in Section 8 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction). The arbitration shall be conducted in the English language. Judgment upon the arbitration award may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
Each party shall bear its own costs in connection with the arbitration, unless otherwise determined by the arbitrator.
7.3 Class Action Waiver
You and Boldica agree that each party may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The parties expressly waive the right to participate in a class action.
7.4 Exception for Injunctive Relief
Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights or confidential information at any time without first proceeding to informal resolution or arbitration.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
8.1 Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States of America and the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
8.2 Jurisdiction and Venue
Subject to the dispute resolution provisions in Section 7, you agree that the exclusive jurisdiction and venue for any legal action, suit, or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be the state and federal courts located in the State of Delaware, United States of America. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection based on improper venue or forum non conveniens.
8.3 Application Across Jurisdictions
These Terms apply to all users of the Service, regardless of geographic location. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you are responsible for compliance with all applicable local laws. If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable in any jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
9. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies or guidelines posted on the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Boldica regarding the use of the Service and supersede and replace any prior agreements, understandings, or representations, whether oral or written, between the parties regarding the subject matter herein.
10. Accessibility Commitment
We aim to follow WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) principles and welcome barrier reports through the contact page. Feedback helps us improve, though we cannot guarantee that every third-party resource we reference will meet the same standard.
